Orange IM adds new location to it’s portfolio; Parking garage in Amsterdam NDSM completed
Orange IM (Orange Investment Managers) has announced the completion of the parking garage, which is developed by G&S&, on December 15th. The parking facility is located in a rapidly up-and-coming area and is an important addition to the dynamics of the NDSM area. The project was built by Continental Car Parks.
The parking garage in the NDSM area offers 525 parking spaces and houses seven commercial units on the ground floor with areas ranging from 68 m² to 274 m². This makes the location not only an ideal parking solution but also an attractive opportunity for entrepreneurs looking for a lively environment for their business activities.
A long-term lease agreement has been signed for the parking garage with APCOA, the number one parking operator in Europe. The parking garage will be in operation from mid-December. APCOA is pleased with the new location and positive about the collaboration with Orange IM. "Working with a party like Orange IM is very pleasant. They understand our business and want a good deal for all parties involved," says Carlo Barten, Managing Director of APCOA Parking Netherlands.
Orange IM, as a trusted partner and asset manager, has played a crucial role in guiding the owner, the Catella Parken Europa fund, in this investment and will remain responsible for the management of the parking facility.
The choice of the NDSM area as the location for this new parking garage is strategic and underscores Orange IM's vision of sustainable investing in dynamic urban areas. "The NDSM parking garage fits perfectly into our portfolio, and we are excited about the added value this investment brings to the fund and the NDSM Wharf," says Richard Kuiper, Head of Asset Management Parking at Orange IM. "Our goal is to provide innovative, sustainable, and high-quality real estate solutions that add value on multiple fronts and contribute to the communities/cities in which they operate. This parking garage seamlessly aligns with this ambition."
